Profile Settings¶
Your profile information is displayed throughout Ogadu — in chats, project member lists, and the user menu.
Viewing Your Profile¶
Click your avatar in the top-right corner to open the User Menu. Your name and email are shown in the header.
Your Display Name¶
Your name appears:
- In the user menu header.
- As the sender name on your chat messages.
- In project member lists.
- As the avatar initial (the first letter of your name is used as your avatar).
Dark Mode¶
Toggle dark mode from the User Menu:
- Click your avatar to open the User Menu.
- Click the Dark Mode toggle.
Ogadu supports two themes:
| Theme | Description |
|---|---|
| Light | Default light theme. |
| Dark (Slate) | Dark theme that's easier on the eyes in low-light environments. |
Your preference is:
- Saved in your browser and persists across sessions.
- Applied instantly without a page reload.
- Initially set to match your operating system preference.
Notifications¶
Access your notifications by clicking Notifications in the User Menu, or navigating to /notifications.
