Group Billing¶
Organizations have their own credit balance that's shared among all members. This page explains how group billing works and how to monitor usage.
How It Works¶
- An admin adds credits to the organization's balance.
- Members create projects with the Group billing type, selecting the organization.
- AI usage in those projects is charged to the organization's balance (not individual members' balances).
Viewing Group Billing¶
Navigate to Usage → {Organization Name} in the top bar.
Overview Cards¶
| Card | Description |
|---|---|
| Group Balance | Credits available in the organization. |
| Members | Number of members. |
| Total Spent | Cumulative AI spending. |
| Operations | Total number of AI operations. |
Usage Breakdowns¶
Admins can see detailed spending breakdowns:
| Breakdown | Description |
|---|---|
| By Member | Who spent how much (admin only). |
| By Project | Which projects consumed the most credits. |
| By Operation | Spending on Chat, Embedding, and Title Generation. |
| By Model | Spending per AI model. |
| Daily Spend | Spending trends over the last 14 days. |
Activity Table¶
| Viewer | What they see |
|---|---|
| Admin | "Recent Group Activity" — all members' operations, including a User column. |
| Member | "Your Activity in This Group" — only their own operations. |
Group Payment History¶
Admins can view all payment and refund transactions for the organization:
- Same format as personal payment history.
- Includes refund buttons on eligible payments.
See Transaction History and Refunds for details.
Multiple Organizations¶
If you belong to multiple organizations:
- A tab bar at the top of the billing page lets you switch between them.
- Each organization has its own separate balance, members, and usage data.
- The sidebar shows credit balances for all your organizations.
